DescriptionIdaho Department of Insurance OpportunityApplications will be accepted through 4:59 PM MST on the posting end date.The Idaho Department of Insurance (DOI) is seeking to fill a full-time, Research Analyst position. This position will play an important role in our Market Oversight Bureau protecting the citizens of Idaho through research, collection, and analysis of data. Based on your The position will present statistical and analytical reports, and make recommendations to agency leadership, other agencies, and the public that will make a measurable difference in the lives of Idahoans.RESPONSIBLITIESPerform qualitative and quantitative research to collect data for statistical analysis.Develop and improve data collection tools and processes.Compare data to identify trends, new developments, and forecasts.Assure quality and validity of data collected from others. Work with entities to communicate data reporting timelines and expectations. Compile and design reports or results that meet the distinct needs of the intended audience. Assist management to evaluate business metrics and identify outdated or missing elements and recommend improvements.
