Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).Position SummaryUnder the supervision of Dr. Jun Ding, the incumbent will contribute to the RESP Program project, focused on single-cell data integration and the application of innovative methods in computational biology. The incumbent will support the design, analysis, and interpretation of complex data, in collaboration with internal and external researchers and partners. This role also involves active participation in the preparation of reports, manuscripts, and grant applications.General Duties Collaborate with principal investigators to design and conduct research projects related to single-cell data integration, Perform bioinformatics analyses, develop and apply statistical or graph-based methods (e.g., scGALA), Contribute to writing scientific publications, presentations, and grant proposals, Liaise with external collaborators and participate in research meetings, Contribute to administrative tasks related to the project and research program.Website of the organizationhttps://rimuhc.ca/enEducation / ExperienceEducation: Master's DegreeWork Experience: 0–6 monthsRequired Skills Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team, Demonstrate diplomacy, discretion and good judgment, Experience with R or Python considered as an asset.Additional informationStatus: Temporary, part-time.If temporary part-time is selected, please specify the number of hours per workweek: 20 hours.Pay Scale: $27.32 to $29.22 /hour.
