We are now looking for a committed Epidemiological Research Associate to support an epidemiological project in infectious diseases focused on identifying the state of the art of the treatement of Pneumoccoccal infections .Job ResponsibilitiesAs an Epidemiological Research Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of the research projects. Your responsibilities will include:Data Collection & Sample Management:Ensuring proper collection, storage, and eventually transportation of biological samples according to study protocols.Coordinating with laboratories and investihgators to facilitate analysis and maintain sample integrity.Regulatory & Ethical Compliance:Preparing and submitting study documentation for approval by ethics committees and regulatory authorities.Ensuring compliance with national and international guidelines for epidemiological research.Fieldwork & Coordination:Liaising with healthcare institutions, laboratories, and research teams to ensure seamless collaboration.Conducting site visits to monitor adherence to study protocols and procedures.Data Quality Assurance:Ensuring accurate data entry, validation, and reporting.Supporting analysis and interpretation of epidemiological findings.Profile RequirementsThe ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:Education & Experience:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Microbiology, Public Health, Biomedical Sciences, or related fields.Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in epidemiological research, microbiology studies, or clinical research projects.Technical & Soft Skills:Knowledge of AMR surveillance and microbiological research methodologies.Familiarity with regulatory submission processes for ethics approval.Excellent organizational and project management skills.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in German and English .Ability to work independently and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.Incentives & BenefitsAfrica Health Innovations Group offers competitive compensation and benefits, including:Remote & Flexible Work Arrangement – Field/home-based setup.Competitive Salary & Performance Bonuses.Professional Development Opportunities – Training & career growth.Travel & Fieldwork Allowance.Networking Opportunities – Collaboration with international research teams.Application ProcessInterested candidates should send their CV and cover letter to jobs@poseidoncro.com with the subject line: Application – Epidemiological Research Associate -10-25 (Austria) before November 07th 2025..Join us in advancing public health research and innovation in Europe !
