Research Grants Advisor and Project Manager

Job DescriptionIn this hybrid role, you will support researchers in securing competitive funding and managing complex international research projects. You will guide scientists through the full grant lifecycle from idea to implementation.Your Responsibilities IncludeIdentifying and assessing suitable funding opportunities for researchers.Collaborating with scientists to develop and write high-quality proposals (e.g. Horizon Europe, ZonMw, NIH).Translating complex grant requirements into clear, actionable project plans.Supporting the department’s strategic funding agenda and fostering collaborations.Leading operational management of awarded research projects, including planning, reporting, budgeting, and compliance.Acting as the key contact point for internal and external stakeholders, such as consortium partners and funding agencies.Monitoring progress, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth project delivery.The balance between Grants Advisor and project management tasks depends on your background and departmental needs and may evolve over time.
