Job Description

The Healthcare Services Employees' Union (HSEU) represents employees in the healthcare sector. The intern will support HSEU with policy analysis, research and various union-driven initiatives. This includes conducting primary and secondary research, performing data collection and data analysis, contributing to the union’s publication of articles and opinion pieces as well as conducting member's engagement and outreach.Key Responsibilities:Conduct primary and secondary research, which includes landscape scans and literature review.Design quantitative and qualitative research instruments such as surveys, interview questions and focus group discussions for the selected research project, as well as perform data collection and analysis.Work closely with the policy and research subcommittee to publish articles and opinion pieces relating to current affairs impacting Singapore’s healthcare landscape.Provide support on any other union-driven initiatives, e.g member’s engagement and outreach.Assist with other administrative duties that may arise.Requirements:Passionate about current affairs, policy development, and evidence-based research.Possess good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly, concisely and logically.Strong interpersonal skills to engage internal and external stakeholders.Team player is who is adaptable, resourceful and keen to learn across different areas- from research to events management.
