Our Executive Search division partners with some of the most innovative clients in the industry, delivering senior leadership and strategic hires that help shape the future of Life Sciences.The role:We’re looking for a Researcher to join our Executive Search team. You’ll play a key role in supporting Client Partners on retained and exclusive leadership searches, helping to identify, map, and engage top-tier talent across the Life Sciences industry.This is a commercial, analytical, and people-focused role; ideal if you’re ambitious, research-minded, and interested in the business side of science. You’ll learn how global search projects are run from start to finish, from understanding client strategy and market mapping, through to outreach, candidate engagement, and presentation.What you’ll be doing:Conduct market research to identify and map potential candidates and client organisationsUse analytical and research tools to gather market intelligence, talent insights, and competitor dataSupport sales and business development activity through prospect mapping, commercial analysis, and lead generation outreachCreate company and market briefings to support client projects and internal discussionsAnalyse companies, markets, and hiring trends to provide insights for clients and internal teamsSupport internal reporting, CRM updates and accuracy, and systems tracking for project deliveryLearn executive search processes by observing client meetings, interviews, and candidate engagementGeneral research and admin support for Client Partners on search projects, from briefing through to shortlist stageWhat we’re looking for:Academic background in broader Life Sciences preferred, but not requiredCurious, proactive, and commercially minded with strong analytical and communication skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at onceConfident speaking with senior professionals and comfortable building rapportInterest in Life Sciences, business, or Executive SearchWhat you’ll get:Direct management, support and development from a seasoned leader in Executive Search, with 25+ years experience both in industry at large multinational Pharma companies and in SearchHealth insurance, wellness budget, gym discount, birthday off, and hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 from home)Quarterly incentives, lunch clubs, and two annual company trips (previous locations include Ibiza, Croatia, and the South of France)Option to relocate to one of our international offices (New York, Seattle, Zurich, Leeds, Newport Beach)This role is perfect for someone who is interested in Life Sciences and enjoys research and problem-solving, but wants a commercial edge.If that sounds like you, apply below or email isabella.morrison@skillsalliance.com for a confidential chat.
