Known for professionalism, responsiveness, and a strong focus on tenant relationships, our client takes pride in delivering well-maintained properties and exceptional resident care.The OpportunityAs the Resident Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of the buildings, ensuring they are safe, clean, and well-maintained. Reporting to the Property Manager, you will be responsible for repairs, tenant relationships, leasing, financial oversight, and administrative duties, while leading and supervising Assistant Resident Manager. This is a hands-on role with on-call responsibilities.The Ideal CandidateYou are a hands-on, organized, and professional property management professional who thrives in a role that blends maintenance, tenant care, and administration. You bring a strong work ethic, excellent communication, and the ability to manage independently while collaborating with your team.Responsibilities Perform general repairs, unit turnovers, and maintenance within your capabilities. Conduct inspections of buildings and grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness. Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants; log and follow-up on requests. Lease units, prepare lease documents, and manage move-in/out procedures. Collect rent and update property management system (Yardi). Oversee and support contractors (repairs, landscaping, snow removal, waste disposal). Monitor budgets, reduce expenses, and report financial activities to the Property Manager. Respond to fire alarms, manage evacuations, and liaise with emergency officials. Complete on-call walk-throughs of buildings and grounds.Requirements Previous experience in property or facilities management. Skilled in cleaning, general maintenance, and repair work. Proficient with MS Office and property management systems (Yardi preferred). Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Professionalism, initiative, and ability to work independently.Benefits Annual salary + apartment included in total compensation package (including Bell package + monthly Power).
