Job Description

Residential Attitudes is seeking for a strong, strategic leader ready to take the reins across multiple departments and drive operational excellence. This senior-level role is more than just management, it's about inspiring and empowering a team of four department managers spanning Shires, Estimating, Drafting, and Admin. You’ll play a pivotal part in shaping performance, culture, and process across the business. We’re seeking an experienced Operations Manager who leads with confidence, sharp thinking, and a passion for progress. This is a hands-on, people-first leadership role for someone who thrives on improving workflow, building high-performing teams, and delivering a seamless client journey. Key responsibilities include:

Overseeing workflow and resource management across contract administration, drafting, estimating and schedulingEnsuring operational KPIs are met, especially construction site starts and production targetsIdentifying process improvements to minimise margin erosion and increase efficiencySupporting staff recruitment, performance reviews and team developmentAssisting with client concerns and escalations, ensuring service aligns with our brand valuesCollaborating with Sales, Construction and the Group Support team to ensure smooth operations of works on siteWorking with the brand accountant to ensure deal margins are viable and trackedLeading and mentoring the operations team, ensuring structure, clarity and culture remain strongWhat We’re Looking ForThis role suits someone who has been in the engine room of a residential building company and is ready to step into a senior leadership role.

You’ll have:
