What To ExpectThe Tesla Residential Energy department is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to support the operation of battery storage and EV charging systems in EMEA. Based in Amsterdam, this role will report directly into the EMEA Technical Support Manager.The EMEA Residential Energy Asset Manager will manage the commercial and operational tasks for battery storage and EV charging product fleets in the region. This will include continuous assessment and improvement of operations, system performance and liaison with Tesla’s installation partners. This role will act as a bridge between customers and other Tesla teams, within the Energy department. The role will ensure successful operations and maximise customer satisfaction across our Powerwall and Wall Connector fleets.What You'll DoIn coordination with other internal teams, monitor and challenge the operational performance and optimisation metrics to achieve the fleet’s highest possible optimisationWork closely with the operations team to ensure safe and efficient resolution of asset related issuesManage the Return Material Authorisation (RMA) Coordination team, handling all Tesla Residential Energy replacementsEnsure compliance with all governing documents and manage and resolve legal, contractual, regulatory, and commercial issues as they ariseManage day-to-day stakeholder relationships internally and externally (For example partner installers, field service teams, finance / accounting teams, operate etc.)Review reoccurring reports on fleet performance as needed and drive the closure of open cases / inquiries across the regionNegotiate contract Service Level Agreement (SLA) renewals as neededWork with internal and external resources to develop strategies that maximise revenue and reduce risk and market exposure of assetsWhat You'll BringBackground in Engineering, Business, or equivalent industry experienceStrong attention to detail with the ability to effectively multitask managing a heavy workloadIntimate knowledge of the energy and renewable energy market, and the ability to stay current with changing technologies, regulations, and trends influencing the continued adoption of renewable energyCommercial mindset, strong prioritisation, communication, and organisational skillsUnderstanding of renewable energy system design and operations at a residential scale. Prior operational experience at solar, wind, thermal, coal, hydro, or nuclear industries a plusStrong leadership skills with the ability to inspire people to action through his/her influenceStrong understanding of project management, people management, legal contracts, accounting, and contract/warranty negotiationsSelf-motivated with the ability to work with little supervisionStrong learning skills with aptitude to independently research, understand, and implement knowledge in new areasExperience with standard financial metrics and analysis, Tesla
