Residential Security Agent - Experience RequiredJob detailsLocated in Greater Los Angeles, CAJob Type: Full Time$110,000 Minimum Annual CompensationNon-exemptJob SummaryThe Residential Security Team Agent is tasked with numerous functions by providing support to a protective security detail around Los Angeles, CA. This detail operates in a dynamic, multi-faceted, and fast paced environment.DutiesDuties for this detail include, but are not limited to:Ensure the overall safety and security of designated principals and their properties.Maintain a knowledge of baseline principal, property and neighborhood activitiesMonitor property and area activities and conditions via closed-circuit television camera system and physical perimeter checksMonitor traditional and social media for potential threatsControlling access to properties and maintenance of security logs for guests, service personnel, and vendors.Drive or tail principal/s, family member, guestsConduct advance work as neededScreen and track mail and deliveriesMonitor the following:Weather and natural disastersTrafficPublic safety incidents and trendsNeighborhood watch programsLocal and national current eventsCoordinate with site staff to accomplish common tasksComplete daily household tasks and maintenance as requested by principalsEnsures 24/7 operational readiness through stocking supplies and equipment upkeepOperate within parameters established by standard operating procedures and applicable lawsCoordinate with and support executive protection element of the teamOpportunities for driving and special off-site assignments/details.Demonstrate proficiency in use and proper maintenance for all equipment (i.e., vehicles, medical supplies, communications devices, etc.)Potential local travel approximately 5% -10% of the time to other RST sites or principal destinations.Must be flexible and open to working overtime shifts whether they are night or day shift, coming in early and staying late if needed.Must possess the ability to multitask in a very fast-paced environment.Must be able to stay vigilant sitting in a vehicle or security office for extended periods of time.Must be a proactive problem solver with the capability to work independently and as part of a team.Must possess a good understanding of the latest technology in security camera systems, use of smartphones, communications, and collaboration apps (Google Drive, Word, Excel & Power Point).Must be dog friendly.Must keep a professional appearance, have good personal hygieneMust be responsive via phone call, text and email as needed to support the team.Excellent communicator with the ability to be personable, successfully interact with clients, superiors, peers, vendors and neighborsPosition Qualifications2-4+ years of combined experience in relevant security, military, and/or law enforcement positionsPhysically fit to facilitate emergency responsesValid Driver’s License with clean driving recordAmerican Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED for Adult, Child & Infant certificationCalifornia BSIS Guard CardCalifornia BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit with 9mm endorsementPassport*All certifications must be current.
