As a Resort Manager, you will hold the most senior role in the destination and play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have a seamless and enjoyable holiday experience. You will manage a team of Customer Helper - Representatives, a Team Leader, manage operations at the resort and airport, and work as one team with internal and external stakeholders to deliver outstanding service. You will take responsibility for your teams' performance by regularly reviewing performance metrics using Management Information (MI) reports and our digital systems to identify areas for improvement and implement action plans.What can we offer you?We offer our valued colleagues a range of benefits including: -Local employment contractCompetitive salary, with annual pay reviewDiscretionary management bonus schemeMonthly Car AllowanceCoaching, development & career progression across Jet2.com & Jet2holidays39 days holiday entitlement per annum (including Public Holidays)Recommend a Friend bonus schemeWhat will you do in the role?Reporting Into The Destination Manager Who Is Based Remotely, You Will Have Overall Responsibility For Managing The Planning, Budgeting And Delivery Of The Jet2holidays Service Across Sardinia, Producing Strong Performance And Results Ensuring YouCollaborate with our local agents, transfer providers, hoteliers and senior UK stakeholders to achieve set KPIs ensuring company policies, procedures and service level agreements are met.Managing costs and delivering against your budget and customer service metrics.Demonstrating effective leadership and taking responsibility for managing all operational disruption, including in destination crisis situations, flight programme delays and customer escalationsBe Present for your team and manage their performance by hosting scheduled in-person & virtual team meetings, delivering training to new and existing members of your team & hold individual monthly 1-1 performance and welfare meetingsPropose key business decisions in the destination using available MI, analysing trends as well as utilising your local destination knowledge. Monitoring, managing and reporting operational disruption which impacts the customers Jet2holiday experience including building works, local events and industrial action.Leading by example displaying role model behaviours and company values in managing and delivering your operation.What will I need?The ideal candidate will have prior management experience in Holiday or Cruise Operations, with proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets and make critical decisions under tight deadlines. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential; knowledge of Greek language is preferred. IT literacy and the ability to interpret data and MI are required.As we employ on local employment contracts, you will already hold the full right to work documentation required for Italy. Due to the level of travel required in the role, you will be required to hold a full and valid driving licence and have your own car with appropriate insurance.
