You will join Executive Management (EM) which leads cross-Agency activities to ensure that the General Manager’s and Chief of Staff’s direction and guidance is fully implemented across the organization. EM leads the Agency Executive Management Board and the key relationship with NATO governance following the NCIA Strategic Plan.EM is responsible for the proactive planning, management and prioritisation of critical NCIA investments and risks and coordination of internal and external engagements with stakeholders, senior committees and boards. EM also guides NCIA communications, externally and internally, with staff.We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Resource Manager who will take on the following roles and responsibilities: Serves as the Task Manager on specific Executive Management funding lines to include Agency Functions, Agency Hospitality and the GM Representational Allowance under supervision of the Executive Officer. Serves as the alternate Learning Officer. Serves as the alternate Point of Contact with the Chief People Officer (CPO) for EM with respect to workforce planning topics. Serves as the CIS Point of Contact (CISPOC) for EM. This can include management of the Pre-Approved Internal IT list and normal updates, requests for equipment and accounts at NATO Restricted and NATO Secret levels, maintaining CIS inventory listing and performing inventory checks as may be required.For a full list of duties, please review the job description on the NCIA career site.About you:The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are: A Bachelor’s degree from a nationally recognised/certified university in a related discipline and 2 years post-related experience; or, in absence of a Bachelor’s degree, a secondary educational degree and at least 6 years post related experience. Experience in budget and financial management and reporting. Experience in resource management, including the planning for and allocation of costs and resources. Experience managing and coordinating workforce and supporting the execution of a large variety of HR activities. (Desirable) Knowledge of NATO financial, budget and workforce management processes and tools.
