This position involves conducting detailed quality inspections, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and developing and implementing quality control plans. The Quality Analyst collaborates with cross functional teams to address quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Additionally, this role involves training and mentoring junior quality staff. Responsibilities: Quality Control Perform inspections and audits to ensure products meet quality standards Identify and report any defects or nonconformities Develop and maintain quality control procedures Monitor production processes and implement corrective actions when necessary Collaborate with production team to improve product quality Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues Maintain records and documentation of quality control activities Product Testing Develop and execute testing protocols for raw materials and finished products Analyze test results and provide recommendations for product improvements Work with suppliers to ensure raw materials meet quality standards Conduct shelf life studies and stability testing Assist with the validation of manufacturing processes Documentation and Reporting Prepare quality reports and communicate results to management Maintain and update quality documentation, including SOPs and work instructions Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards Participate in internal and external audits Implement and monitor corrective and preventive actions Provide training to employees on quality standards and procedures Continuous Improvement Identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes Implement lean principles and other quality improvement methodologies Participate in cross functional teams to address quality issues and implement solutions Monitor and analyze quality metrics to drive continuous improvement efforts Stay current with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and control. Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field with at least 2 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL). In-depth understanding of inventory management principles and practices. Experience with inventory management software and systems. Ability to develop and implement inventory optimization strategies. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
