Cluster is looking for Restaurant ManagerJob Context:We are looking for a skilled and motivated Restaurant Manager to lead our bar operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong hospitality experience, a passion for leadership, and the ability to drive both customer satisfaction and operational performance.Key Responsibilities:Oversee Daily OperationsSupervise daily opening and closing procedures for bar / restaurant areas.Maintain cleanliness, ambiance, and staff readiness throughout service hours.Monitor guest flow and ensure smooth bar / table managementRecruit, Train & Manage StaffHire front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) staff based on skill, discipline, and cultural fit.Conduct training on customer service, hygiene, safety, and company standards.Provide leadership, motivation, and regular performance evaluationsInventory & Cost ControlMonitor and maintain inventory of beverages, food items, and supplies.Work with vendors for cost-effective ordering and timely delivery.Prevent wastage and theft through daily tracking and documentation.Customer Experience ManagementEnsure all guests are greeted warmly and served professionally.Handle customer complaints tactfully and resolve service issues promptly.Gather guest feedback and make improvements based on insights.Legal & Safety ComplianceEnsure compliance with local food safety, hygiene, and laws.Maintain staff training in responsible bar / restaurant service and workplace safety.Ensure proper record-keeping for management when required (e.g., inventory logs).Marketing & PromotionsPlan and execute local promotions, live music nights, and events, seasonal offering.Coordinate with the marketing team for digital/social media promotions.Ensure events align with cultural norms and responsible service standards.Scheduling & Labor Cost ManagementPrepare and manage weekly staff rosters based on expected footfall.Control overtime and manage staff hours within budget.Maintain discipline, punctuality, and fair workload distribution.Coordination with Kitchen & OwnershipHold daily briefing meetings with FOH and kitchen teams.Provide regular operational updates to the management or head office.Work towards business goals including revenue targets, cost control, and guest satisfaction.Collaborate with chefs and bar staff to ensure menu quality and service standards.Ensure the bar environment is safe, welcoming, and aligned with brand standards. Job Scope & ChangesThe scope of responsibilities may be reviewed and adjusted in response to organizational needs, as determined by management.Undertake additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management, consistent with the overall role and capabilities.Educational RequirementsBachelor of Arts (BA) in Hospitality ManagementBachelor of Business Administration (BBA)Diploma in Hotel ManagementProfessional certification or Diploma in Restaurant Management, Hospitality Management will be considered an asset.Skills Required: ERP Software, Operational Management, Restaurant management, Leadership and teamwork, Restaurant Service, Planning and budget, Bar management, Leadership and Good Communication skill.Experience Requirements5 to 7 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Restaurant,Bar/PubAdditional RequirementsAt least 5–7 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.Prior experience in managing both front-of-house and back-of-house bar teams is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, bar service, and hospitality etiquette.Ability to lead and discipline a team in a respectful, culturally appropriate manner.Exceptional leadership and communication skillsExperience with ERP systems, stock management, and basic budgeting.Flexible to work evenings, night, weekends, and holidays.Job LocationDhaka (Banani)
