Retail DevOps Engineer

Job Description Title: Lider técnico | Ratail DevOps EngineerLocation: Hybrid Mode (CDMX, GDL and MTY) Mandatory: 10+ years in technology with strong DevOps and cloud experience Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and services, particularly in Azure and Containerization. This includes knowledge of AKS, virtual machines, load balancers, databases, storage, networking, and security Broad development experience in one or more object-oriented programming languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python) Strong relational database experience using MS SQL Server Experience with SSIS, SSRS, SSAS or similar BI development and reporting tools Broad experience contributing and collaborating to assist design, plan, implement, maintain, and document services and solutions Strong competency in software development tools (e.g. Visual Studio, VS Code, Chrome Dev Tools) Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Demonstrable knowledge in the application of modern Service Delivery methods - Site Reliability Engineering to traditional ITIL and understanding of Product Based delivery Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across the organization Understanding security best practices in the cloud and being able to implement security controls such as network security groups, firewalls, and identity and access management Experience with the following: Infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation, and configuration management tools such as Ansible or Chef Setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), Jenkins or GitLab Containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes and be able to manage container orchestration in the cloud Scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash, as well as programming languages such as Python Nice To Have: Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert - This certification validates skills in designing and implementing DevOps practices for Azure Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert - This certification validates skills in designing and implementing solutions that run on Azure Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) - This certification validates skills in managing and deploying applications on Kubernetes Experience with retail or wholesale trading systems Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align DevOps practices with business goals Support incident, problem, and change management processes Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Retail applications Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Kubernetes Managing Azure infrastructure and integrations Handling environment management and optimization Monitor and optimize Azure resources for performance, reliability, and cost Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, ARM templates, and scripting tools (PowerShell, Bash, Python) Implement alerting and observability tools (Azure Monitor, Grafana) Providing support for DevOps operations Demonstrating strong SQL skills Understanding networking concepts and troubleshooting Ensuring digital security and managing vulnerabilities Implementing containerization strategies Writing scripts using Python and PowerShell Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing About UsInfosys is a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting.
