Job Description
1. Sales & Business DevelopmentIdentify and approach potential clients such as retail shops, restaurants, minimarts, salons, and other businesses needing cashier or POS systems.Present and demonstrate the cashier/POS system to potential clients, highlighting features and benefits.Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and product presentations.Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close sales.Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.2. Customer Relationship ManagementMaintain strong relationships with existing clients for repeat sales, upgrades, and referrals.Provide after-sales support and coordinate with technical teams for installation, training, and troubleshooting.Handle client inquiries and feedback professionally and promptly.3. Product Knowledge & DemonstrationGain in-depth knowledge of all product features, updates, and pricing structures.Conduct product demos (on-site or online) to showcase system capabilities (e.g., inventory management, sales reports, barcode integration, etc.).Provide input to management about customer needs and potential improvements to the system.4. Market Research & StrategyResearch competitor products and pricing to identify market opportunities.Participate in marketing activities such as trade shows, product launches, and social media promotions.Report regularly on sales performance, customer insights, and market trends.5. Technical CoordinationLiaise with the technical and support teams to ensure smooth installation and customer satisfaction.Assist clients in basic system setup or troubleshooting before referring to the technical team.Key Skills & RequirementsProven experience in sales, preferably in POS systems, retail software, or IT solutions.Good understanding of retail operations and cashier workflows.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Basic technical knowledge of POS hardware and software.Self-motivated, target-driven, and customer-focused.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.Possession of own transport is often preferred.KPIs / Performance IndicatorsSales revenue achieved vs. target.Number of new clients acquired.Customer satisfaction and retention rate.Number of product demos or presentations conducted.Accuracy and timeliness of reporting and documentation.
