Evaluate and support the RMs in the daily decisions to optimize the hotel revenue. Decisions in terms of pricing, inventory management and distribution channels. Provide aid in ensuring that recommendations are implemented in the reservations and hotel teams, and that systems are updated accordingly. Utilising the Revenue Management System and Benchmarking tools to evaluate pricing and inventory recommendations to achieve the best optimization for the properties in the portfolio. Create, together with the RMs, hotel individual strategies with the goal of boosting revenue streams and maximizing KPI results. Support in ensuring that revenue management systems and tools are properly implemented and maintained. Check that planning and pricing is up to date for at least the next 365 days. Analyze the results monthly, by day of week, day type, segments and by comparison with competitors. Ensure rate parity with third parties and maximize distribution health.Benchmarking & Competitor Analysis: Analyses competitors in terms of content, pricing and strategy. Analyses market share data with the goal of performing above the properties CompSet & market. Analyse the hotel’s results and performance (Occupancy, ADR & RevPAR) and provide actionable feedback to Revenue Managers.Forecast and Budget: Support in the creation and amendments of short- and long-term revenue forecasts identifying areas of opportunity and strategies to improve revenue and overall profitability. Help construct an accurate and dynamic forecast for the future dates (by room revenue, segment and day) based on the RM referenced systems and daily monitoring of the data (OTB, Pick-up trends, STLY performance, calendar events, etc.) Support annual budget recommendations for each of the properties in the portfolio.Reports & Meetings: Support in preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports and hold weekly and monthly meetings according to the needs of the hotel and the operations team. Analyses special event periods with the goal of improving results for future events. Attend (based on needs) weekly and bi-weekly meetings with Sales, Reservations, Marketing, Operations and Data Analytics teams to align the Revenue Management strategies across all impacted departments and stakeholders.Communication: Be an ambassador to the brand and communicate the “RM Culture” throughout the whole organization, establishing and nourishing relationships with all stakeholders. On-going and open communication with the Revenue Manager in light of improving the processes and team dynamics.General Support & Optimization: Support in the implementation and execution of strategies, maintenance of systems and alignment of RM objectives across all departments to achieve maximum revenue optimization across the portfolio.Your main qualifications/skillsEducation: Minimum Undergraduate Degree in Hospitality, Business, Economics or related field (MSc or specific Revenue Management background preferred).Experience: Preferred internship in Revenue Management field or completed RM official certification. Experience with any RMS and Hotel Systems a plus however not a requirement (Duetto, Lighthouse, TravelClick, CoStar, Opera PMS, Power BI).Development & Learning: Willingness to learn and develop into the Revenue Manager position.Skills – Analytical & Results-Oriented: Strong analytical capabilities, result oriented and proactive.Skills – Communication & Relationship Building: Strong sense of building and nourishing relationships with strong communication skills.
