Revit Drafter

Job SummaryResponsible for producing technical rough-in drawings for multiple internal clients using software applications such as AutoCAD and AutoDesk Revit. Effectively coordinating with the Project Management teams to work through any issues or questions that may arise. Assisting with occasional BIM coordination with VDC Engineers ensuring compliancy with the layout of the kitchen and Utilities. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about drafting, passionate about detailing and is looking to elevate their career.ResponsibilitiesCreates technical drawings with heavy MEP concentration (BIM/VDC Meetings)Follows set drafting standards and procedures to ensure accuracy and consistencyCollaborates with team members to review and revise drawing based on feedbackDisplays high level of effective communication skills both internally and externallyParticipates in training programs and professional development opportunitiesPhysical RequirementsWork is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.ExperienceAssociate degree in Architectural Drafting preferred but not requiredProfessional experience in Architectural related work strongly preferredProfessional experience in an MEP related work preferred but not requiredPrevious knowledge of Food Service Equipment is preferred but not requiredEducationThis role does not require a degree.
