RF Engineer

My client is currently urgently looking for an RF Engineer to join this busy projects.Key tasks• Engineer RF signals to interact with laser light to control quantum states of atoms, ensuring accurate frequency delivery for quantum transitions.• Design and implement RF signal paths and modulation circuits for integration with laser-based quantum modules, enabling spin-state control and atomic coherence.• Optimize RF performance by focusing on impedance matching, noise suppression, and field uniformity, ensuring stability in high-frequency, low-noise environments.• Work within the RF domain around 200 MHz and 2 W output power, emphasizing low Relative Intensity Noise (RIN) and low phase noise performance.• Execute precision RF measurements and system tuning using VNA, spectrum analyzers, and field probes to validate performance within quantum-compatible thresholds.• Ensure compliance with EMC and laser system standards, maintaining RF robustness for safety and operational integrity in quantum-critical systems. Ideal candidate profileDegree in Electronics Engineering or a related fieldExperience with RF signal generation and processing, including antenna design, impedance matching, and electromagnetic simulationFamiliarity with control loop theory and analog signal processingHands-on expertise with measurement, debugging, and testing of RF and analog electronics, including filtering, resonance tuning, and noise mitigationStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on stability, signal integrity, and manufacturabilityAttention to detail and commitment to quality and reliability in complex, noise-sensitive systemsTeam-oriented with solid communication skillsIf this role looks of interest and your currently looking for your next contract then please send your CV and call now for more information.
