We are seeking a visionary leader to establish Ricoh’s Leadership Academy, designing scalable programs that elevate leadership and management capabilities across the EMEA region. As the Head of Leadership Academy, you will embed coaching practices, drive peer‑learning networks, and align development initiatives with strategic objectives to build a future‑ready talent pipeline. In collaboration with HR and senior stakeholders, you will ensure measurable impact on performance, culture, and succession readiness.
This role combines strategic innovation, operational execution, and a passion for transforming leadership potential into organisational excellence. What you will be doingDevelop and deliver an integrated strategy that accelerates the growth of Ricoh’s 2,000 people managers and 150 senior leaders. Focus on building leadership behaviours, people management capability, coaching confidence, and the ability to manage performance effectively in a dynamic, matrixed organisation. Establish and lead a newly created Leadership Academy that serves as a central hub for leadership and management development, delivering high-impact programmes and tools that align with Ricoh’s strategic and cultural goals.
Build, grow, and sustain Ricoh’s Leadership CoP to connect leaders, encourage peer learning, and share practical tools and approaches that can be deployed at scale. Partner with the Sales Academy to co-create and embed sales leadership capability and performance coaching skills tailored to the needs of sales managers and leaders. Design and provide simple, immediately usable practical tools, templates, and frameworks that managers and leaders can apply immediately to improve performance conversations, feedback, coaching, and team development.
Embed coaching approaches into all leadership and management programmes to build everyday coaching capability and help leaders drive high performance through regular, informal feedback and support. Design and oversee a tiered suite of leadership and management programmes, from foundational first-line manager development to senior leadership interventions and team-based leadership coaching. Act as a credible and skilled facilitator and coach, providing direct support through workshops, team development sessions, team coaching, and 1: 1 executive coaching to build capability and role-model effective leadership. Lead and develop the Leadership Academy team and external partners, creating a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Partner with senior leaders, HR Business Partners, and key stakeholders to ensure the Leadership Academy supports Ricoh’s business strategy, succession planning, and talent pipelines. Establish clear measures to track the effectiveness of programmes, the use of tools, and improvements in leadership capability, coaching confidence and management performance. Keep up with external trends and best practices in leadership, management development, and performance coaching to ensure Ricoh remains forward-thinking. Embed Ricoh’s leadership principles, performance expectations, and cultural behaviours throughout all Leadership Academy activities. You will ideally haveProven success designing large-scale leadership programs with measurable impact in complex, multinational organizations.
Expertise in modern performance management, coaching frameworks, and translating theory into practical management tools. Strong commercial acumen to align initiatives with business priorities, talent pipelines, and succession planning. Experience building Leadership Communities of Practice (CoPs) or similar peer-learning networks. A track record of influencing senior stakeholders and HR partners to address business challenges through leadership solutions. Skills in measuring and communicating the impact of leadership initiatives on culture and performance. A blend of hands-on L&D expertise, coaching mastery, and strategic business insight.
