As an adjunct trainer, you will deliver engaging and interactive training sessions on data analytics and machine learning topics, and help trainees transition into new careers by providing mentorship and guidance throughout their learning process.Key responsibilities include:Deliver high quality adult training sessions in the areas of business and data analytics, including topics such as:Data Analytics using ExcelDatabase management using MySQLData Visualization using Power BI and TableauAnalytics programming using Python and associated librariesMachine Learning modelling using Python and associated librariesAnalytics solutioning using low-code/no-code tools such as Orange Data MiningPrompt-based development using GenAI platforms such as ChatGPTAI automation using tools such as n8n and Power AutomateWhat You’ll Bring (Experience & Qualifications):Education:Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, AI, or a related disciplineProfessional certifications in Adult Education and Lifelong Learning (e.g., WSQ Diploma in Design and Development of Learning, WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and performance, etc.) are highly desirableProfessional certifications in business analytics, data analytics, or related areas (e.g., Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate, etc.) are also preferredExperience:Minimum 5 years of professional experience in business analytics, data analytics, data science, or a related disciplinePrevious teaching or training experience, particularly in an adult education or professional development settingDemonstrated experience with real-world data analytics projects, including hands-on experience with tools such as SQL, Excel, Python, Tableau, Power BI, Orange Data Mining etc.Skills:Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible and engaging wayStrong coaching and mentoring skills, with a commitment to helping students succeedAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
