OverviewCome join the Security Incident Response team as a seasonal Associate Risk Investigator. We are developing cutting edge data protection and financial fraud prevention services that are central to the client's offerings. Our Investigators support the business by maintaining data security standards.ResponsibilitiesInput needed data in case fields and ensure all data is accurateInvestigate possible violations of established processes and procedures as it relates to data securityCollaborate with other Risk squad members on both unconfirmed and confirmed findingsIdentify, track and report anomalies using defined processesRecommend actions and process changes to drive solutions for negative outliers or trendsExpectationsMeets deadlines and commitmentsResponds quickly to communicationsBe punctual and reliably show up to work/meetingsGive and accept feedback from peers and supervisor(s)Available for weekends and overtime as neededTake ownership, act on fact and hold oneself accountableStrong attention to detailAble to follow documented processes and procedureSkillsBe team-oriented, self-motivated, and take initiative to make creative contributions to continuous improvement of processesCritical thinking and problem solving skillsAbility to derive sound, data-based theories for what is driving trends and insightsAbility to multitask and adapt to a rapidly changing environmentProficiency in both Microsoft Office, particularly with an emphasis on Excel, and with G-Suite for BusinessIdeal candidate will have experience using systems such as Splunk and various data loss prevention toolsModerate to advanced computer proficiency
