From our legendary Roadside assistance to electric vehicle charging networks, holiday parks and lodges, car rentals, and harbour transport and ocean cruising we are striving to make a difference that contributes to a brighter shared future for all Australians.Forget what you thought you knew about the NRMA – take a look on the inside and you’ll discover that life with us is more than just a job – it’s your chance to make a difference together.Job DescriptionIn this exciting 6-month maximum term contract opportunity as a Risk Analyst commencing from mid-February 2026, you will report to the Manager of Risk & Insurance to provide support in proactively managing, maintaining and embedding the Group risk exposure.Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited ToAssist with the maintenance and embedding of the Group Risk appetite and Risk Management Framework, including quarterly risk reviews, risk operations projects, mergers and acquisitions, special risk assessments, and risk software administration.Organise and support quarterly risk assessment processes, including workshops with business stakeholders, risk identification, evaluation, monitoring of the mitigation plans in line with risk appetite statement, and reporting.Provide education and training to staff to build risk awareness and embed best practice risk management across the organisation.Provide risk perspective support for mergers and acquisitions, working closely with relevant business units.Support to embed the Risk Appetite Statement and uplift the risk culture across the organisation (Project RACOR).Assist with climate risk register reporting requirements and the uplift of the ERM Tool (Protecht).Provide support to the team with Group Business Continuity matters or management of any crisis incidents (if needed).What You'll BringBachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline3–5 years’ experience in roles requiring risk management capabilityStrong report writing skills and proficiency in Microsoft OfficeExcellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple deliverablesComfortable managing multiple stakeholders with competing prioritiesOutcome-driven, with a focus on ensuring accuracy of data and reportingStrong data interpretation capabilityInfluencing skills and some understanding of compliance exposure would be desirableWhat’s In It For YouAt the NRMA we aren’t just about discounts (although you do get these too).
