Job Description

Risk and Compliance officer will support the organization in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks while ensuring compliance with internal policies, legal and regulatory requirements and maintaining robust governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct risk assessments of the organization's operations and processes.Identify potential areas of risk and develop risk mitigation strategies.Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.Monitor compliance with risk management policies and procedures.Provide risk management guidance and support to other departments as needed.Assist with regulatory compliance activities.Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and other stakeholders within governance bodies such as committees.Keep up to date with changes in industry regulations and best practices.Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.Stay up to date and monitor compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Assist with compliance audits and risk assessments.Investigate compliance-related issues and recommend corrective actions.Develop and deliver risk and compliance training to employees.Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and findings.Report on compliance issues to senior management and regulatory bodies as required.Performing quarterly ICOFR testing over the in scope subsidiaries.Submit the requirements of the external and the internal audit teams.Key Skills and Competencies:Strong understanding of risk management and regulatory compliance frameworks.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to interpret and apply regulatory standards.Proficient in MS Office and risk/compliance software tools.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.Professional certifications such as ACCA or CIA are preferred.Bilingual – fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).Previous experience in a risk or compliance-related role is preferred.Experience working with one of the Big Four firms is an added advantage.
