Risk Officer (M/F)

We are looking for a Risk Officer to strengthen the Risk Department at Banco Finantia:Main ResponsibilitiesJoin the financial risk team in executing the activity plan;Assess exposures to financial risks and ensure they remain within established limits;Produce and automate various regular financial risk monitoring reports, particularly for business areas and monthly for the Executive Committee;Conduct analyses to calibrate applicable risk metric limits and monitor valuations of the securities and derivatives portfolio;Participate in the maintenance and control of the Risk Appetite Framework (RAF);Contribute to the development of methodologies and calculation of results in ICAAP and ILAAP processes;Support the preparation of information for internal and external auditors, as well as regulators;Review procedures established within the Group for risk control and mitigation, proposing processes and control metrics;Regularly interact with international subsidiaries to ensure access to information and alignment of risk control procedures with Group standards;Continuously monitor legislation and guidelines related to risk management.Desired ProfileMaster’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Management, Economics, or a related field;More than 3 years of experience in Financial Risk Management and 7–8 years of overall professional experience, preferably in the Banking sector;Knowledge of Risk Assessment Models;Familiarity with techniques and tools for handling large datasets;Solid understanding of Risk Management;Awareness of banking sector regulations, particularly in the area of Risk;Proficiency in software applications (MS Office, SAP, BO, Kondor, Midas) and programming languages (VB, SQL);Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required; Spanish is a plus;Critical thinking and proactivity;Strong sense of responsibility and commitment.What we are offeringOpportunity to join an international Bank with a relevant presence in the market;Continuous training and the possibility of learning in a challenging professional context;Good working environment.Send us your CV!
