Utilizing the nursing process, the RN-Surgery assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Licenses/CertificationsCurrent and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practiceBasic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within time frame specified in facility policy)Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required within time frame specified in facility policy)Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (required within timeframe specified in facility policy)ExperienceMinimum of one year of clinical nursing experience preferredPrevious perioperative or surgical services experience strongly preferred
