Chief Financial Officer

Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for a Chief Financial Officer (m/f/x) for a permanent position based in Brussels. The Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for the overall financial management of the Group, overseeing the finance team based in Brussels and coordinating the financial activities of over twenty subsidiaries located in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This key role involves supervising financial reporting processes, managing audits, ensuring legal and tax compliance, and participating in both organic and external growth operations. Our client is a company active in the technologies sector.

As CFO (m/f/x) you will be responsible for: Financial Management and Reporting: Oversee the preparation and consolidation of quarterly and annual accounts of the subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with shareholder standards. Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial audits. Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors and the management of the parent company. Support to Subsidiaries: Provide financial support to subsidiaries, including financial management, reporting, and legal compliance. Participate in the group's tax strategy and offer tax support to subsidiaries, particularly for Belgian companies. Compliance and Regulation:

Ensure that all subsidiaries comply with local legal and regulatory obligations, including management reports and general meetings. Implement and oversee the internal dividend policy. Growth Operations: Organic Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive organic growth within the company, focusing on improving operational efficiencies and optimizing financial performance. Collaborate with various departments to identify and capitalize on opportunities for revenue growth, balance sheet management and cost savings. External GrowthParticipate in the preparation and execution of external growth operations, including financial plans, due diligence, acquisitions, and financing. The required profile for the CFO (m/f/x) position:

Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. Significant experience in financial management within an international group. Proven skills in financial consolidation, reporting, and audit management. In-depth knowledge of international tax and legal regulations. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and manage a diverse team. Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and respectful approach. Fluency in English and French or Dutch is required; proficiency in other languages is a plus. Leadership and ability to motivate a team. Analytical mindset. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Flexibility and adaptability in a constantly evolving environment.
