We are looking for a dynamic Office Manager to join our team in Austin, Texas. In this long-term contract role, you will oversee the daily operations of our office, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for employees and visitors alike. This position is ideal for someone who excels at multitasking, problem-solving, and fostering positive workplace experiences. Responsibilities: • Manage and optimize the daily office operations to ensure seamless functionality and a positive work environment. • Coordinate with building management to oversee employee parking, badge access, maintenance, and repairs.
• Maintain inventory levels for office supplies, snacks, beverages, and equipment while adhering to budget constraints. • Develop and enforce policies and procedures to enhance office efficiency and safety. • Provide administrative support to the executive team, including managing mail, deliveries, and scheduling. • Assist in onboarding new employees to create a smooth and welcoming integration process. • Organize and execute company events such as team lunches, happy hours, holiday celebrations, and other gatherings. • Arrange travel accommodations for team members as needed. • Serve as the primary contact for visitors, ensuring a meticulous and friendly experience.
• Monitor accounts payable and ensure timely processing of office-related expenses. • Proven experience in administrative office management or a similar role. • Ability to manage office supplies and procurement processes effectively. • Strong organizational and time-management skills. • Knowledge of accounts payable procedures and practices. • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. • Proficiency in coordinating events and travel arrangements. • Experience in receptionist duties, including visitor management. • Familiarity with space planning and building operations.
