We are looking for an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to spearhead technological innovation and strategic initiatives within the automotive industry. This pivotal role demands a visionary leader with expertise in cutting-edge automotive technologies, such as autonomous driving and connected car solutions, combined with a proven ability to manage complex engineering projects and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in shaping our company's technology landscape and driving innovation to achieve business objectives. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement a comprehensive technology vision and strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business goals.
• Drive research and development (R& D) efforts focused on electric vehicles (EVs), autonomous driving technologies, and connected car solutions. • Oversee the design and advancement of autonomous driving systems, including sensor integration, data processing, and machine learning algorithms. • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary technology team to foster collaboration, innovation, and growth. • Collaborate with other executives to ensure technology strategies are seamlessly integrated with broader organizational objectives. • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with technology vendors, suppliers, and academic institutions to enhance R& D capabilities. • Evaluate emerging technologies and implement solutions that align with industry trends and organizational needs.
• Ensure compliance with automotive regulations and safety standards across all technology initiatives. • Manage the technology budget to optimize resource allocation and maximize R& D productivity. • Stay informed about industry advancements in automotive technology and advocate for innovative practices within the company. • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred. • At least 10 years of experience in technology leadership roles within the automotive or a related industry. • Extensive knowledge of automotive engineering, software development, and emerging technologies like AI, IoT, and machine learning. • Hands-on experience with autonomous driving systems and connected car solutions.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, with excellent communication and leadership skills. • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities to drive innovation and achieve results. • In-depth understanding of automotive industry regulations, trends, and best practices, particularly in autonomous technologies. • Familiarity with tools and technologies such as Amazon SQS, Ada, Blockchain, Lamp Stack, and React. js.
