We are looking for an entry-level Financial Analyst to join our team in New York, New York. This is a long-term contract position within the dynamic entertainment industry, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to financial operations and analysis. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting the team with a variety of analytical tasks. Responsibilities: • Assist in preparing artist statements by generating financial reports, updating schedules, and maintaining cost trackers. • Oversee the invoicing process for artist merchandise, collaborating with product managers to gather essential data and reconcile information.
• Maintain and update the master list of financial coding for merchandise operations, while supporting shared services with invoice coding. • Contribute to month-end closing activities by running reports, reconciling financial data, and updating relevant schedules. • Support the preparation of monthly financial analyses by generating reports, updating schedules, and analyzing account balances. • Track vendor expenses and assist in developing budgets and forecasts for operational and capital expenditures. • Participate in financial transformation initiatives to enhance processes and systems. • Minimum of 2 years' experience in finance, accounting, or auditing roles. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including SUMIFS and VLOOKUP. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
