We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our healthcare team in New York, NY. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a critical role in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and supporting key business decisions. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to dig into complex data to deliver actionable insights. Responsibilities: • Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to support business objectives. • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to internal stakeholders, including senior management and the Board.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret data for budgeting and forecasting processes. • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track organizational success and areas for improvement. • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial plans, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company goals. • Manage month-end close processes, including reconciliations and variance analyses. • Oversee accounting functions related to fixed assets, liabilities, and capital management. • Utilize Sage Accounting Software to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations. • Conduct audits and ensure compliance with non-profit accounting standards and regulations.
• Support the development of strategic financial plans through detailed analysis and reporting. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting within a healthcare or non-profit organization. • Proficiency in Sage Accounting Software or similar platforms. • Strong understanding of accounting functions, including fixed assets, liabilities, and capital management. • Familiarity with auditing processes and regulatory compliance standards. • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication skills to effectively present complex financial data.
