About Optimize Wealth ManagementOptimize Wealth Management is a premier portfolio management firm leveraging proprietary technology to make wealth management more transparent, efficient, and cost-effective. We are seeking a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Engineer to develop and manage automation solutions that enhance the efficiency and accuracy of operational processes across our wealth management platform.The OpportunityJoin our Toronto-based operations and technology team as an RPA Engineer to lead the identification, design, development, and implementation of automation solutions across our wealth management firm. This full-time, on-site role (Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) will be responsible for streamlining and automating numerous manual, rule-based operational tasks, improving efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across key areas such as client onboarding, trade processing, compliance checks, and reporting. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong technical skills and a keen understanding of business process optimization.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Identification and Analysis:Work with business units to identify, assess, and prioritize manual or repetitive processes suitable for automation.Develop detailed documentation including Process Design Documents (PDDs) and Solution Design Documents (SDDs) outlining “as-is” and “to-be” workflows.Quantify the business case and projected ROI for automation initiatives.RPA Development and Integration:Design, configure, and deploy RPA solutions using leading platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.Build bots that integrate with internal applications, CRMs (e.g., Salesforce), and third-party financial systems using APIs, database queries, and surface-level automation.Implement robust exception handling, ensuring error resilience, and efficient escalation procedures.Maintain coding standards and version control practices aligned with internal governance policies.Monitoring, Maintenance, and Governance:Manage bot deployment, scheduling, and performance monitoring across the orchestration platform.Troubleshoot production automations, maintain uptime, and address change management requirements following system updates or integration changes.Ensure automation solutions meet wealth management industry compliance and security standards.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience developing and implementing RPA solutions.Technical Skills: Strong expertise with at least one major RPA tool (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism).Programming/Scripting: Proficiency in C#, Python, .NET, or SQL.System Integration: Experience designing bots that interface with APIs, databases, and multiple enterprise systems.Analytical Capability: Exceptional ability to analyze complex workflows and translate them into scalable automation designs.Preferred QualificationsExperience in the Financial Services or Wealth Management industry, especially in areas such as operations, compliance, or client servicing.Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).Experience with cloud-based automation and orchestration (AWS, Azure, or GCP environments).Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical teams.
