Job Description
As the Lifetime Services Robotics Technical Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing expert support across electrical, mechanical, and software systems for TGW Robotics. You will be responsible for ensuring that all robotic solutions operate effectively on customer sites across Northern Europe, but with a first focus on the ICA site in Västerås.Forming part of the new Operational Excellence team, you will be fostering trust and repeat business, delivering expert support, driving product improvements, refining system performance, and upskilling employees.What you'll be handling:Technical Support & Issue ResolutionEnsure TGW robotics machines operate reliably, reducing downtime and maximising performanceIdentify and resolve technical issues efficiently, supporting customers and internal teamsMonitor availability performance against targets, analyse error rates, and develop corrective action plansSupport TGW robotics machines from Realisation to Lifetime Services handover, ensuring a smooth transitionDocumentation & Knowledge SharingCreate documentation to support the daily operation of TGW robotics machinesProvide clear and effective feedback to internal and external stakeholdersDevelop a structured lessons learnt process, ensuring actions are implemented and feedback is communicated to TGW Robotics AustriaDeliver training and upskilling to TGW employees and customers to enhance their technical expertiseContinuous Improvement & InnovationTake a proactive approach in identifying areas of improvement for TGW robotics machinesSupport an environment that fosters continuous improvement and innovation.Identify opportunities that add value for customers and generate potential revenue for TGWCustomer & Business EngagementActively promote the success of TGW robotics to the wider businessBuild and maintain professional relationships with clients, TGW colleagues, and product developersAchieve high standards of customer satisfaction, technical efficiency, and company imageBe punctual and uphold commitments made to customers, ensuring a reliable service experienceHealth & Safety ComplianceWork safely and adhere to all Health & Safety requirements, including Risk Assessments (RAs), Method Statements, Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), and COSHH requirementsWhat you'll need:EssentialQualification in electrical or mechanical engineeringStrong understanding of PLC controls (Siemens)You demonstrate strong proficiency in both written and spoken Swedish and English. Understanding of mechatronic safety circuits and devicesFlexible to travel to Germany for training in the 1st 3 months and flexible to travel across sites for TGW Northern Europe DesirableExperience working in an intralogistics engineering environment or high-speed robotics engineeringHigher qualification in Electrical or Mechanical EngineeringExperience in supporting robotic solutionsFamiliarity with intralogistics IT systemsExperience in coaching and training on engineering equipmentEn kontroll av belastningsregistret genomförs i samband med rekrytering.*TGW is an employer that promotes equal opportunities.
