This role ensures that manufacturing principles are practiced to meet stringent launch timelines.
The position involves close collaboration with engineers, technicians, and subject matter experts across various departments to enable the testing and operations of launch vehicles. Key ResponsibilitiesUse your technical knowledge to define standards of excellence and consistently identify the best solutions for engineering challenges. Create, approve, and improve technical documents pertinent to your role and expertise. Identify additional projects, set group/business priorities, and continuously deliver on-time, often exceeding initial goals. Assess risks before they occur and implement measures to mitigate them, ensuring long-term effectiveness. Lead problem-solving initiatives and coach others in effective problem resolution.
Identify engineering challenges and implement solutions to improve cost, quality, reliability, and delivery. Develop personal strategic plans and contribute to technical department and business goals. Effectively communicate with peers, subordinates, and superiors, ensuring meetings stay on track and convey technical information concisely. Develop criteria for cross-training and improve training processes, capable of acting as a deputy for lead or manager when needed. Demonstrate punctuality, adherence to company policies, and coach others on appropriate professional behaviour.
