The Senior Creative Producer functions as a leader on the RMPM Studios team - responsible for conceiving, pitching and producing content for RMPM promotional, marketing and client-service messaging. The Senior Creative Producer utilizes production and editing mastery, powered by exceptional creativity and imagination. Duties include leading the creative direction while filming and editing long and short-form projects. This position works independently and/or as part of a team, mentoring and advising Creative Producer(s) in the creation of media (scripts, audio, video, graphics, digital, print and presentation) to sell concepts, engage audiences and motivate revenue-based stakeholders.
Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesProducing Skills: Lead the creative process, collaborating with cross departmental and external teams to brainstorm, develop, and refine innovative video concepts, effectively telling stories and communicate brand messaging that aligns with client objectives and strategy. Foster a collaborative and innovative environment while overseeing all stages of production from pre-production to post-production, ensuring high standards of quality and adherence to project timelines and budgets. Interact professionally with clients to understand their vision, develop concepts, provide updates, and incorporate feedback throughout the production process. Manage, direct, and collaborate with production team (including camera operators, editors, etc.
), ensuring smooth workflows, clear communication, and seamless execution. Serve as a primary point of contact for RMPM staff & underwriters, providing updates, gathering feedback, and ensuring their creative vision is realized at every stage. Expert in creating emotionally impactful promotional and story-driven content as well as revenue generating materials for external clientsStay ahead of industry trends and technologies, applying new insights to enhance the quality and impact of video content.
Technical SkillsExperience working with various production cameras to capture video and still imagery (Black Magic, Canon, and Sony)Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Media Encoder, DaVinci Resolve) or similar creative software. Strong experience in managing multi-camera shoots and directing technical aspects of production, including lighting, sound, and set design. Ability to create motion graphics and visual effects to enhance video projects and bring additional flair when needed. Experience troubleshooting technical challenges during filming, editing or post-production, both in-house and on-location. Other tasks as assigned and/or required.
Minimum Qualifications Of Position7+ years relevant job experienceIntermediate to Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud software (or similar software products)Strong understanding of integrated communication campaigns for media organizations (non-profit work a plus)Experience leading the creation of video content for media organizations (non-profit experience is a plus). Strong computer skills in all Microsoft Office and other industry collaboration applications.
