Rooms Manager, Owston HotelAbout Owston HotelOwston Hotel is a new boutique hotel coming to Fremantle’s West End, inspired by the warmth of a local Italian Locanda. Our focus is great hospitality, attention to detail, and creating a place that feels special for visitors. About the roleWe’re looking for a Rooms Manager to help us bring Owston Hotel to life. Get hands-on and be involved with the opening. Set up systems, help to define service standards, and work closely with the broader team to get everything running smoothly. Once open, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, from housekeeping to guest services. You’ll be the organised presence that keeps everything moving, ensuring each guest’s stay feels personal. What you’ll be doingHelp design and implement operating procedures and guest service systems before openingManage the daily room operations, including housekeeping, guest services, and maintenance coordinationRecruit, train, and support a small front-of-house and housekeeping team Maintain high standards of presentation across rooms and shared spacesManage room inventory, bookings, and guest communicationsWork with ownership to create a connected, seamless guest experience between the hotel and our other hospitality venuesMonitor feedback and continuously improve how we do thingsAbout youYou have experience in hotel management, and understand great serviceYou’re organised, reliable, and don’t mind rolling up your sleevesYou care about the small details that make a big difference to guestsYou’re confident leading a small team and creating structure where there isn’t much yet.
