Job Description

The Impact of this RoleThe job position will be involved with global transformation projects with cross-functional team to ensure the success of the project delivery end to end using agile and relevant framework like Scrum. Working closely with IT project managers, technical team, and business teams in corporate and hotels to: Apply agile framework and embrace the four main scrum ceremonies (i. e. , Sprint Planning, Week Sprint, Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective)Transform from traditional waterfall methods to modern agile method such as: from rigid set of a project requirement to flexible set of a project requirement.

from obtaining lesson learnt at the end of a project to incorporating continuous learning into the process. from receiving feedbacks at the end of a waterfall project to receiving faster feedbacks in every cycle of spring to save time and cost for rework. Inspire the company how to embrace and smooth out the agile approach and ultimately maximizing values to the company. ResponsibilitiesAgile Project ManagementWork closely with project squad team, provide guide and ensure following the principles of the agile approach. Ensure the 4 scrum ceremonies and other related events take place.

Identify, monitor, and track project progress, risk and issues. Help teams to remove roadblocks and issues are handled with related stakeholders in a timely manner. Follow up end-to-end project deliveryAble to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively, make alignments and facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolutioAble to do status / progress reportingVendor management and stakeholder managementBacklog Management: Ensure information like user stories, tasks, test cases and issues are recorded in an agile tool like Jira, which is easier to visualize the current sprint status, current backlog, WIP and so on.

Make sure the backlog is prioritized and groomed with business teams before the sprint planning startsAgile tools and Microsoft Visio: Able to use agile related tools like Jira to maintain projectsAble to visualize ideas, and /or current information using diagrams for team alignment and obtain more valuable feedbacksCritical Skills and Qualification. University degree holder in project management, or IT related. At least 3 years of hand-on working experience in agile project implementation for large multi-national corporation. Solid experience to take a project manager role to lead corporate-size projects.

Knowledge / experience in using agile tools like Jira and Microsoft Visio to draw diagrams like flowcharts and user journey map as one of the project documents. Strong communication skills and interested in communicating with different stakeholders located in different countries. String in problem solving skill, time management and status reporting. PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Relevant Agile / Scrum certification preferred. Proficient in English and Mandarin
