KEY RESPONSIBILITIESJob SummaryThe newly created role – Corporate Communications Executive is a critical role to support the department’s full range of communications activities that enhance Rosewood Hotel Group’s global reputation, brand visibility, and external stakeholder engagement. The role will report to the Senior/Manager of Corporate Communications, Global. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMedia relations: Support in media engagement and pitching. Handle media enquiries by coordinating with respective stakeholders to gather facts and insights. Coordinate logistics for media engagement activities. Crisis Communications Management:
Assist in crisis communications learning program development; support issue/crisis communications management; and drive media and social monitoring tools and metrics. Content Development: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and translate corporate communications materials in Chinese and English. Corporate website and social media management: Support in content management for the corporate website and LinkedIn account. Administrative support: Manage key stakeholder database and event calendar; track department’s budget and performance results; and provide other administrative duties as assigned. Required Skills and QualificationsFluency in written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English.
Other language(s) is a plus. Strong presentation and time management. Project management with problem-solving and relationship management skills. Self-motivated, attention to detail, and agile personality, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Bachelor’s degree minimum. Experience in public relations, communications, journalism, preferably in travel and hospitality and/or public relations agency. Established relationships with news and business media are a plus. Open to entry-level candidates.
