Route and Driver Allocator

Our client is a national specialised courier delivery company in need of a permanent full-time person with Allocation experience in transport or logistics/scheduling or similar. The role is a hybrid position working from home and from our client’s office in Bella Vista, Sydney.You will be part of a happy and dynamic team, working the PM shift from 11am to 7pm and 1 weekend per fortnight – a total of 5 shifts per week. FURTHER DETAILS OF THE ROLE:· 5 days per week – 11am to 7pm, including 1 weekend each fortnight· A generous salary is on offer ($80,000 plus super) plus penalty rates for weekends· Full training is provided· You will need a reliable vehicle and Licence plus a Police Clearance for this role· An immediate start would be ideal if possible and no leave in the first 3 months would be preferrable as they head into a busy time of year· This employer offers career progression and development with plenty of support and guidance THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE:· Reliability with exceptional organisation and communication skills· Some experience in a related sector and/or Allocation role· Sound computing skills and experience with TMS (Transport Management System) software would be highly valued· Common sense and the ability to stay calm under pressure, often working to tight time deadlines· A pleasant personality and the ability to work as part of a team· Excellent problem-solving skills· A comprehensive knowledge of Sydney’s suburbs This is an interesting role and a fantastic opportunity for the right person to work from home and with the dynamic office team.
