Salary: £27,000Location: LondonHybrid working 35 hours per weekWe are looking for a conscientious Scientific Writer to join our Editorial team. The role of the Scientific Writer is to contribute to the creation of content for the Pharmaceutical Press (PhP) products. This includes activities such as triaging sources, the maintenance of databases, researching content, organising workflows, and updating specific areas of content in the PhP products which are tightly defined by procedures.
If you are looking for a new and exciting challenge this may be the role for you!Role RequirementsHigher education qualification in a subject relevant to the clinical use of drugs, or equivalent practical experience in a healthcare or regulatory setting. A degree in a physical or life science is desirable. An understanding of drugs, medicines, and medical terminology. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely. Ability to work effectively within a team and to organise own workload. Evidence of writing or editorial experience desirable.
Occasional travel for events and conferences. An understanding of toxicology, herbal medicines, dietary supplements, excipients, or analytical science is desirable.
