Outside Sales Account Manager – Construction Location: Tempe, AZ, Tucson, AZ, Phoenix, AZ Type: Full-Time | Base Salary + Unlimited Commission with auto allowance. Position Summary: A leading provider of construction access solutions is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Account Manager to join their growing team in Tempe, AZ. This role is focused on identifying, bidding, and securing new business in the commercial and industrial construction sectors, while maintaining and growing existing accounts. Key Responsibilities: Prospect and develop new business opportunities in targeted markets. Maintain and grow relationships with current clients. Provide technical guidance and support throughout the sales cycle.
Collaborate with internal teams on project bids, material takeoffs, and equipment/labor planning. Resolve client concerns during and after contract execution. Track activity and opportunities using CRM (Salesforce). Maintain accurate sales records, prepare presentations, and represent the company professionally. Stay informed on product offerings and market trends. Attend client meetings and events as needed. Qualifications: 3–5 years of outside sales experience in construction or a related field. Strong understanding of blueprints, scaffolding, forming, or shoring systems. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; Salesforce experience preferred. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to perform technical calculations related to construction applications.
