The IT Operations Engineer reports to the Senior Director of IT Infrastructure & Operations and also be responsible for the ownership of many day-to-day aspects of the IT Infrastructure and Operations Organization.
Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, prioritize, and triage employee-facing issues, escalating internally and externally as needed Maintain asset inventory and tracking system Set up, configure, and maintain workstations Hardware repair and upgrades Disk imaging of systems Handle onboarding and offboarding of accounts across in-house and SaaS applications Assist with creating process documentation as needed for internal processes Provide ongoing maintenance and support of key communication systems In-office teleconferencing equipment Dashboard displays and televisions Employee workstations Collaboration with the other Infrastructure Team members on org-wide projects and rollouts Remediation of endpoint tickets generated from Security team Adherence to RPM valuesPreferred QualificationsAssociate degree or coursework in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 0–2+ years of relevant experience in IT support or infrastructure roles (internships or student jobs welcome)Familiarity with basic IT principles and troubleshooting Strong communication and teamwork skills A problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn Ability to prioritize tasks and ask for help when neededMust be able to work in our Gdańsk, PL office Attributes & SkillsStrong IT background with infrastructure proficiencyEvidence of problem solving and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environmentTrack record of on time deliveryEvidence of being detail-oriented with a strong ability to think and communicate strategically Excellent written and verbal communication skills Team player and ability to be flexible, adaptable, and accommodating to employees at all levelThis position may involve occasional light manual labor, such as lifting and moving computer equipment, setting up workstations, or handling office technology hardware.
