We don’t just provide jobs—we build careers.Job Description DetailsThe Finance Analyst plays a key role in supporting our clients’ financial health by ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial transactions. This role spans Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) activities, requiring a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.You will work closely with clients, applying accounting standards and policies, leveraging financial systems, and delivering outputs that meet both P&A Grant Thornton’s quality standards and those of the profession.Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesEngagement ManagementUnderstand client businesses and industries to perform and manage assigned work effectively.Apply knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and relevant laws.Perform client-assigned duties including AP, AR, and GL functions.Use job-related tools (e.g., Oracle, QuickBooks, MS Office, or client-specific systems).Prepare and maintain deliverables, calendars, and reports while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality.Validate findings and provide updates to clients and engagement managers.Show adaptability in handling new or different assignments with integrity and professionalism.Relationship ManagementPromote the firm as a provider of high-quality, responsive services.Communicate regularly with clients on work progress, issues, and solutions.Work harmoniously with team members and participate in firm/division activities.Professional DevelopmentAttend on-the-job trainings, mentoring, and seminars.Complete performance appraisals and individual development plans with your coach.Administrative FunctionsComply with firm policies, processes, and reporting requirements.Submit accurate time reports, reimbursements, and surveys.Safeguard confidentiality of client information at all times.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in accountancyMinimum of 1 year accounting experience (preferred)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsPositive, proactive, and adaptable work attitudeWhy Join P&A Grant Thornton?At P&A Grant Thornton, You’ll Experience a Culture That Cares For Its People As Much As It Cares For Its Clients.
