zaThe Group has a management position for a suitably educated, committed, hardworking and motivated engineer who would report to the Divisional Director of the steel and copper divisions in Cape Town. This is a career-oriented engineering position in the metallurgical industry.

Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited ToProject management, including process design and layout workQuality control, implement systems to support product realisationInvolvement in the operational aspects of the departments (hands-on participation)Liaising with various service providersTroubleshooting equipment breakdowns and facilitating repairsWillingness to “get hands dirty” assisting with engineering requirementsProduction optimizationWater treatment experience favorableApplicants Must Have The Following Qualifying CriteriaGood leadership skillsBEng Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering5 years’ experience in a metallurgical manufacturing/production environmentAbility and willingness to work in challenging conditionsAbility to communicate on all levelsBe deadline-drivenAbility to work independentlyTeam player – able to work well within a teamAble to follow instructions and execute actions accordinglyHave a valid unendorsed driver’s license and a reliable motor vehicleJob title:
