Production Quality Engineer

Your roleBe a part of the global aerospace industry, working with production quality at Saab Aerospace Systems in Linköping. We supply both internal and external customers like Airbus and Boeing with wing structures, movables and doors. The Production Quality Engineer is responsible for quality assurance in Aerospace Systems production. The role includes planning, implementation and monitoring of quality related activities in order to maintain or improve the productions quality performance as well as handling non-conformities. The main tasks:

Develop and/or maintain the production quality performanceSecure compliance to quality requirements throughout productionHandling non-conformitiesCorrective actions managementContinuously analyze, identify and initiate improvements to part design, industrial setup, internal work processesYour profileWhat we are looking for is someone with a high level of relevant education and/or experience from a very similar occupation. The big variety of products and parts calls for someone that has no problem of learning and understanding manufacturing techniques, products and customer requirements/expectations. Multiple interfaces, between organizations within Aerostructures, should feel exiting for someone applying for this position. Required skills:

Master degree or minimum five years of relevant experience (quality)Excellent communication skills in English, verbal and writtenExperience in using quality technology tools for problem solving (six sigma etc)Experience in reading design data i. e. drawings, models etcDesired skills: Experience from commercial aerospaceExperience in working close to productionMechanical engineering background with focus on quality and manufacturing techniquesCertified Black BeltExperience in First Article Inspection reviewThis position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
