Job SummaryThe Payroll Officer will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in salary calculations, compliance with labor laws, and timely disbursement of payments. The ideal candidate must be highly proficient in payroll calculations, Excel, and Cameroonian labor regulations, with the ability to work independently. Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end payroll processing for employees in compliance with Cameroonian labor laws.
Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, bonuses, deductions, taxes, and social security contributions. Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and contract changes. Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and relevant authorities. Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll inquiries. Stay updated on changes in labor laws and ensure payroll practices remain compliant. Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to streamline payroll processes. Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll data. Required Qualifications & SkillsProven experience as a Payroll Officer or similar role in Cameroon. In-depth knowledge of payroll calculations, tax laws, and employment contracts in Cameroon.
Must have experience in Payrolls Management with HRM Company . Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc. ). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines. Fluent in English and French (written and spoken). High level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential data. Preferred QualificationsDegree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field. Experience with payroll software (e. g. , Sage, SAP, etc. ).
