Currently, we are in search of a dynamic and passionate Laboratory Technician (secondary school) to join our highly accomplished secondary department. The successful candidate will already be residing in Dubai.

The RoleAs a Laboratory Technician, you will support the delivery of high-quality science lessons by preparing practical materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient laboratory environment. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and set up materials, equipment, and solutions for science lessons (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics). Support teaching staff during practical lessons, where appropriate. Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure resources are well-stocked. Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, including COSHH and CLEAPSS guidelines. Safely store and dispose of chemicals and biological materials. Keep an accurate inventory of equipment and supplies. Assist with the organisation of science displays and resources.

Person SpecificationEssentialA science-related qualification (e. g. , GCSEs/A Levels or equivalent). Good deminstrable understanding of laboratory safety procedures. Good deminstrable understanding of CLEAPSS guidance and compliance. Organised, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. DesirablePrevious experience working in a school or laboratory setting. IT literacy (Microsoft Office, inventory systems, Google Suite).
