Safety Engineer

The Occupational Health and Safety (hereinafter OH&S) Professional will be responsible for the implementation of all kinds of employee health and safety regulations and legislation (law, ISO 45001 etc.). The goal is to have all necessary policies in place and keep a high standard in all fields of safety and company health.Main Responsibilities & TasksDevelop and implement policies and practices to identify / mitigate hazardous conditions within the workplace and external environmentsContribute to the development of the overall company EHS strategyInvestigate accidents, incidents and sources of risk and liaise with engineers, management, and health and safety regulatory authorities to identify causes of accidents / risks and prevent their recurrenceProvide advice and training on safety protocols and conduct audits to ensure compliance with organization and government standards related to OH&SImplement policies and practices to identify / mitigate hazardous conditions with negative impact on the OH&SOrganize activities and programs in connection with the company EHS programKeep close relationships with all internal stakeholders involved in company EHS programs and OH&S performance and engage with external stakeholders like authorities/governmentsControl and track success of OH&S activitiesQualification & SkillsBachelor's degree in safety, healthMinimum 3 years of work experienceQualification of occupational safety 1st degree(산업안전기사 1급) aboveDeep understanding and know how on legal framework regarding OH&SAbility to work independently with general supervisionVery analytical approach as well as project management skillsAbility to influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practicesFluent in EnglishAbout SartoriusSartorius is part of the solution in the fight against cancer, dementia, and many other diseases.
