Position - Safety HeadExperience - 15+ YearsLocation - Bangalore/HosurJob Summary:The Safety Head will lead and manage all safety operations across Neo Heights’ construction and industrial project sites. This role is responsible for developing safety policies, ensuring compliance with statutory and ISO 45001 standards, conducting audits, driving safety awareness, and building a strong safety culture across the organization. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in construction safety, strong leadership skills, and the ability to guide teams toward zero-incident project execution.Key Responsibilities:Leadership & StrategyDevelop and implement company-wide safety policies, standards, and procedures.Lead and mentor the EHS team across multiple sites.Build a strong safety culture through training, awareness, and continuous improvement.Conduct regular safety meetings, toolbox talks, and management briefings.Compliance & AuditsEnsure compliance with all statutory, ISO, and client safety requirements.Conduct site safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.Maintain documentation for legal compliance, inspections, permits, and certifications.Prepare and submit monthly EHS reports and performance metrics.Incident ManagementLead incident investigations and root-cause analysis.Develop corrective and preventive action plans.Monitor near misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions, ensuring timely closure.Training & DevelopmentPrepare and deliver onboarding safety training for new employees.Plan fire drills, emergency preparedness programs, and high-risk activity trainings.Evaluate competency of safety officers and workforce.Project-Level SafetyReview Method Statements, JSA, and HIRA for all high-risk activities.Ensure PPE compliance and equipment safety checks.Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, and Contractors for safe execution.Monitor safety performance of subcontractors.Stakeholder CoordinationLiaise with government bodies, statutory officers, and client representatives.Represent the organization during client audits and external inspections.Ensure timely communication of safety updates to leadership. QualificationBachelor’s degree in Engineering Diploma in Industrial Safety / NEBOSH / IOSH certification is mandatory.Minimum 15 years of experience in construction, infrastructure, or industrial project safety.Strong knowledge of safety regulations, statutory compliances, and ISO 45001 standards.Experience in leading safety teams across multiple project sites.Proven track record in reducing incidents and implementing safety improvement programs.Excellent communication, leadership, and training skills.Ability to work closely with project teams and handle client/consultant safety requirements.Preferred SkillsExpertise in HIRA, JSA, PTW systems.Strong documentation and reporting skills.Proactive approach to safety improvement initiatives.Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
