Job ID: 3191Location: PagbilaoCompany: Therma Luzon, Inc.Department: Safety, Health, and Environment Business Partner -Employment Type: ProbationaryWork Arrangement: On-SiteThis role is responsible for promoting and maintaining asafe and healthy work environment by developing,implementing and evaluating health and safety programsthat prevent, minimize, or eradicate workplace risks andhazards.The role supports the OSH Supervisor in ensuring fullcompliance with company policies andgovernment-mandated health and safety regulations.The position shall conduct regular inspections and riskassessments, facilitate employee training and awarenesscampaigns, assist in incident investigations and activelyparticipate in fostering a culture of safety within theorganization, by aligning safety initiatives with bothoperational goals and regulatory requirements.Role SummaryThis position is responsible for providing assistance to the Safety Supervisor in the implementation of health and safety programs, processes and procedures in accordance with the Company standards and government-mandated health and safety regulations and standards.ResponsibilitiesAssists in the implementation of safety activities in the plant, such as safety competitions, safety awareness through advertisement and safety themes.Conducts regular site inspection of the whole facility with Safety Technicians and consolidates results of inspections on safety equipment such as fire extinguishers, emergency lights, fire hydrant system, fire hydrant system and smoke detectorsConducts incident investigations based on incident notifications received from other departments and prepares Incident Report for submission to ManagerAssists in coordinating with DOLE Safety Standards Bureaus, Bureau of Fire Protection, PNP and other government agencies in compliance to safety legal requirementsIssues Work Permits approved by Safety Supervisor to Contractors prior to start of any project works.Complies with housekeeping policies within his/her area of responsibility during assigned shift to maintain standards of cleanliness and orderliness of plant equipment and premises.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or any related coursesFormal Training on Safety from DOLE-Accredited Training OrganizationAt least 2 years of experience in a power plant or heavy industryWilling to be assigned in Pagbilao, Quezon Province
